Google has released a new web-service which allows putting your songs onto the internet then being able to get access to them anywhere using the internet called Music Beta by Google . The service is in beta-testing and will be free for a limited time.
One of the main features is extensive use of syncing of playlist and songs “you don’t have to worry about cables, file transfers, or running out of storage space.” This means a playlist on your computer will be available on your media playing device and vice-versa. Recently played items will be also be automatically available.
The service is only available in the United States by invitation. One disappointed YouTube user, tattoos01, commented ‘Taking the World out of the World Wide Web… Again.’ Google insisted that the service is legal in a press conference as users can only upload music they own.
